Default Is this odd or is it just me?

I like adventure games a lot, however i only have a select few. From reading different htreads on this forum, iv come to the conclusion that for some reason the only games i do have a fairly rare, whats with that?
They are;
Ecoquest 1
Starship titanic
Obsidian
Orion Burger
Runaway (not so rare)

whats with that? i dont do it on purpose

You're asking US, why all your games happen to be the rare ones???

That's a good one, mate. I haven't got a clue, though.

I'm with VoodooFX on this one - perhaps your games are only rare in the eye of the beholder. Anyway - glad you enjoy playing adventures in the first place.

I wouldn't call Starship Titanic rare.

Well no, for example I don't have it. I've played it, but I don't have the game myself.

I own three of those, but I don't think any of them are particularly rare. I think EcoQuest 2 is rarer, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't mind owning Runaway in Spanish though. Wish more Spaniards would sell their games worldwide on ebay.

I have Starship Titanic and Obsidian (the latter is one of my favorite games).

Am I the only one here who will confess to owning "Mode"?

Those games aren't rare, having even heard of 'Nightlong', let alone having it and completing it is rarer hahaha

I think one can safely say that Orion Burger is rare.

Oh, not been looking recently. Coudn't run it anyway. What genius hasn't bothered to make a patch to make it compatible with XP? Who still uses Win 95 or 98?

It works with ScummVM (well, it will when v. 0.9.0 is released, in a few weeks).

I still run Windows 98. OK, you can stop laughing now. Lots of people do.

I have Mode. Both the original boxed version for win95/98, released by Broderbund, and the XP-update, available at developer Jeff Green's web site. Liked it. I'm always interested in that type of adventure/interactive movie. I also have his prequel, Midnight Stranger, which is not very good, more like an experiment than a game. Imo, imo. imo.

Rare games eh? I always thought Normality, the Neverhood and Sanitarium were pretty rare since they pretty much disappeared off shelves pretty soon after they were released. But I guess even a "rare" game can be obtained pretty easily through eBay.
