Damn, that demo was really good!
Barrow Hill reminds me alot of Darkfall and Scratches, and that´s a good thing.

If the demo's goal is to make the folks interested this one falls on its face flat.

Interesting game! I love the graphics and looking about with the torchlight, but the demo froze when I picked up a little metal chain/coil in the shed I probably wouldnt buy it unless it has characters and a good story.

I beg to differ. I had remotely no interest in this game from the start, because everything about it seemed like it wasn't my type of game (first person with a slideshow format for starters) but the demo convinced me to give it a try.

I've normally been against First-Person AGs, but my excellent experience with Scratches has opened my mind to the possibilities. After seeing some very favourable reviews and enjoying the demo (though sucking heavily at doing anything in it), I'm picking this one up when it comes out.

There are other characters, one of whom is terrific. Your interactions with her are done very uniquely and very well. I really enjoyed this game*.

* I preordered, so I got the game and played it already.

When it comes out? I've been enjoying the full version of this game for over a week now.
