I thought this was going to be another of your screenshot threads for a second

I assume you've at least seen AG's screenshots for the game?

So, this is not pre-rendered? Looks too good to be real time if you ask me.

Looks pre-rendered to me. It's pretty much exactly like how Syberia was.

Have you seen the gameplay videos for Paradise? If not, watch those.

Part of the game will be pre-rendered and other parts will be realtime 3D (the part where you control the leopard/whatever it is)

So it's gonna look and feel similar to the Syberia games.

I don't think that's true, save for the occasional bird flying by in front of the camera - besides all of those things can be perfectly done pre-rendered; I meant that parts of the game where you'll be controlling the leopard are fully realtime 3D (ala Dreamfall/KOTOR) Atleast that's what the interviews and previews said.

Are you sure about that? Any gameplay footage showing it?

99% sure I read it in a preview/interview with White Birds/Sokal some time ago, but I can't find the link anywhere on this forum, nor on google

But the preview here at AG never mentions the real time 3D perspective you see playing as the leopard.

I noticed that It wasn't an AG preview though, nor on gamespot or IGN, damn, why can't I find it anywhere

Edit: Bingo: http://forums.adventuregamers.com/sh...radise+preview a few posts down, and it WAS the ign preview http://pc.ign.com/articles/688/688426p1.html

Sokal was quick to point out that this doesn't mean the game will turn into an action platformer, but he's hoping it will break up the point-and-click adventure with a little different perspective. The more interesting opportunity here is for linked puzzles between the leopard and Anne. Completing a goal with the leopard might unlock something that will help Anne progress when she wakes.

Thanks but I already got it Anyway, I'm very curious to see these realtime 3D parts in action, and I'm curious why there's no footage/screenies showing it. It could possibly be spoiler material though, I guess..

I'm more excited for this game than Dreamfall, which is saying a lot.

Please allow me a teenage "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Thanks.

Pudry.

Am I the only one who looks at this screenshot: http://www.adventuregamers.com/screenshot.php?id=5063 and thinks of Prince of Persia? I'm wondering...I need to climb up that pole, swing off those horizontal bars.....

That would be nice if they added some Prince of Persia elements into Paradise.

You know it won't happen, though.
