Default Searching for a game's title

Hi everyone;
I'm looking for a game, which I have been playing around 1989-1990 on Atari ST. It is a point and click adventure game "staring" a secret agent. I remember a scene of the game where you, the secret agent, had to make contact with a woman to get information from. To establish contact, you had to buy a flower at the shop and wear it on your suit as contact recognition. The scene was on a little market/fountain place.

I know it's not much info, I think this is the right place to be able to find the game title as you guys have lot of background in this game genre.

Thanks already.

That's it! I knew this was the right place to ask. Thanks a lot!
Any similar game you would recommend?

The company that made this game (Delphine) made a bunch of other games...

There's "Les Voyageurs du Temps", which english name eludes me, which is pretty similar, for example.
Cruise for a Corpse is a Delphine game too, but it's not really good.

How well do you know the Adventure Game world? If not well, then you may want to investigate games by Lucas Arts (classics, all of them), or Sierra (not always good, but there are plenty of them, and they're probably closer to Operation Stealth).

What do you mean by similar, by the way? Having the same gameplay, or featuring secret agents?

I believe it was future wars.

Absolutely. Les Voyageurs du Temps = Future Wars, thanks.
Not much of a translation, by the way...

I remember "Cruise for a Corpse" well, I did like this game back then. I'm not sure about "Les Voyageurs du Temps", I'll look for it.

By similar I meant, as good story/action/feeling in general. It's been a realy long time I haven't been playing adventure games.
Games I remember playing and enjoyed where: Indiana Jones (Fate of Atlantis, Last Crusade), Full Throttle, The Dig, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island(1st one, LeChuck's Revenge)

My second favorite developper, right after Lucas Arts, is Legend. I recommend Death Gate, Shannara and Callahan's Crosstime Saloon.
Then there's the Simon the Sorcerer (1 and 2, mostly), Hands of Fate (Kyrandia 2)... and probably a bunch of others that I don't remember right now.

As for newest games, well, none of them really have the same feeling as the old ones, but Still Life is very good.

Since we're on the subject, Time Wars and Operation Stealth are going to be supported in ScummVM soon (the first one is already completable). So you'll soon get a chance to (re)play them without having to fiddle with DOSBox.

You'd have to pay me (or ask me to review it) to make me play Operation Stealth again, though.

I remember really enjoying operation stealth on the Amiga, apart from two flaws:-

a) The copy protection, I'm colour blind which made this a VERY difficult task

b) Those BLOODY mazes, it took me ages to do them.

I stopped at the submarine, for some reason. I think I has reached a dead-end.

You missed the part with the elastic band, then. Too bad, that's, erm, the best thing ever.

(It certainly did have some great parts, though.)

They also made the games Another World and Flashback.
I wonder what happened to Delphine, are they still around?

What a shame, i would have like to see more games from them.
Future Wars and Operation Stealth were far from perfect, however i did like Cruise for a Corpse a lot.

Just out of interest, how does a company close down after liquidation?
