Rubacava, man, no doubt. Manny's suave look and swank casino beat all, no question. And the option of coming up with totally random beatnik poetry? Who can say no to that?

Rubacava by a long shot. Mainly because of the awesome moon. Many of my all time favorite AG scenes take place in Rubacava; talking to Maximino, Membrillo's morgue, poetry at the Blue Casket, running across that bridge with the massive blimp floating above, interrupting Carla's life story, etc...

Rubacava is incredibly similar to Casablanca, its not a rip off though, its a genuine tribute to it.

All this talk about Grim Fandango has made me want to play it again, but I can't. Has anyone had any success getting it to run on an X64 system?

With bony hands I hold my partner
On soulless feet we cross the floor The music stops as if to answer An empty knocking at the door It seems his skin was sweet as mango When last I held him to my breast But now we dance this grim fandango And will four years before we rest.

Neuvo Marrow. Loved seeing how the city had changed and the sleazy atmosphere. Felt the most noirish to me as well. Rubacava was a very close second though; Nick's pretty much my hero.

I voted for Rubacava since it seemed as if you could do so many things... dispite the fact that I rarely understood what I was doing (the entire winning ticket thing still confuses me) |

None. What kind of drugs were these people on? I mean, what's up with everyone being dead and Casablanca? Bah! I'm off to play some Vice City.

I have fond memories of El Marrow from an early demo I played of Fandango, before I'd sampled the full version. However, I voted for Rubacava because it's the chapter that showcases Schafer's penchant for intertwined puzzles. It's really the stage at which Fandango broadens into a beautiful, enchanting and captivating adventure.

Well, I guess this is what happens after you got "High on Life" one time too often... "So, basically: 'Life's a drug, and will eventually kill you.'?" Yeah, I guess. -

Yup. Rubacava. Hands down.
But, the Edge Of The World was not all that bad. I liked the whole safe puzzle and it was interesting finally catching up with Meche and acquiring a whole new prespective on your whole adventure and its meaning. Oh yeah, and the winning ticket thing in Rubacava was a bit confusing as you say, Stroggy, but nothing too bad. |

I played GF as my firs lucas Arts Adventure ,and yet the most fun of the whole adventures that I played ,i pick Rubacava but i loved all the game ! and the reason that that year reminds me more is that I was stuck in the elavetor ! and i try so hard to go trhough that door ! but i just couldn't ! later i found that soft to decrease the game speed .
all i wanna say is this game is at the top of my games. i want to play it again ! |
