"No need to go down there"

Very pretty location like most of the game. Outside the University I think.

I have to give it kuedos as it was the game that got me back into playing adventures and onto the adventure community.

However it is ultimatly a shallow game with little interactivity, but still fun to play.

Sweet.
One of the games that hooked me again to AGs. And not shallow, either, no matter what the perv. said.

I would disaggre with you here; shallow? not at all. Syberia was a true poem.
As for interactivity, true true.

Shallow was Syberia 2, one of the shallowest.

sor, fixed

Swallow was Syberia 2, one of the swallowest.
Syberia swallows???

In case you're not joking, shallow = opposite of deep.
Swallow means something entierely different.

Ha! I don't talk to no stalking scotts.

...erm, what about Syberia, again? Oh yeah. It's surprising that half the people who have payed it seem to find is deep, when the other half find it shallow.

That woulds be Scots not Scotts.

A Scott is a rare breed normally found in southern USA. The most famous of this species frequents the backwaters of Alabama.

Famous for it's excessive facial hair and general good nature they make very good pets. (Or at least I've heard them refered to as man's best friend on more than one occassion).

Generally house broken and lives on a diet of cookies and Piggly Wiggly food products. Can be recognised by the call of "Scottmate" at the end of every sentence.

Syberia is as deep as a teaspoon.

Syberia should have had more stair scenes. Watching and waiting for Kate Walker to orient herself to the steps (just like real people do!) and then saunter up or down... pure joy.

I always liked the fact she was a safety conscious gal - she would never run up or down the stairs. She always walked.

And as "There is no spoon" is an official phrase the last 5 years; you actually say that Syberia's depth has no end.

You could also say it HAS no depth - and it is 2 dimensional.

I can't knock it too much - I really did enjoy it.
