Default Cyan lives!

So, if you head on over to Idle Thumbs you'll see a news story indicating that Cyan has managed to re-hire most of its employees, and now appears to be un-dead.

If I'd had known this was news I would've posted it a week ago!

Damnation!

edit - hope this also means an anti-bird patch for Myst V, or there'll be some friendly ass-whupping!

...

... not entirely sure what I meant by that.

Unfortunately, they forgot to hire me, so they are doomed to failiure.

Awww.... shucks, that sounds nasty... I really meant...

I'm super-happy about it! A spring is now in my step, the world smells of roses, every bite tastes better than the last and I'm surrounded by naked, pretty twenty-something women. And it's all thanks to Cyan!

The best part of this news is that they've already told everyone this is the last Myst game, so they have to do something new. They were getting a bit Lucassy.

It's not bad. But then again, it's not exactly good.
It's...average.

(this coming from a Myst 4 - Revelation lover)

Yes, and to kill them off for you good you'll have to solve a series of supremely obscure mechanical puzzles.

I am wondering what happened that they suddenly are staying in business... some sort of Deus Ex Machina?
