Default Largest Inventory item u ever saw?

Have u ever tried to put your bike down your pants insted of parking it, or popping your car from your inner pocket when you start driving to work in the morning? Probably not, but if u played adv games before, u 'e probably noticed some mighty big items being put inside the carachters pants or backpack.

So, whats the bigest item u can think of, ever being put in an adventure game inventory?
There are definitly some big 'uns out there.

(Its possible this topic has been up before, but i tried searching for it, and no hits.)

In Edge of Reality, you can pick up a church. I don't think inventory items get much bigger than that.

Journey to the Center of the Earth had a ladder
Omega Stone had 16 skulls
Syberia had Oscar's legs

Grace puts a big sign down her pants in GK2. It's especially funny to watch because of the FMV - with cartoon art you can kind of suspend disbelief, but that's very hard to do with a real actor.

FOV: Yes, I remember mind-boggling over that one. I think I remember Gabe putting the Ritter dagger into his pants looking kind of funny, too. (I mean, ow?)

Space Quest 3 also had a ladder, while Space Quest 6 had a long plank.

Didn't one of the Leisure Suit Larry games have a humongous soda?

The "pocket moment" that really made me laugh, though, was in Curse of Monkey Island when Guybrush pulls out his waistband and nonchalantly drops in the cannon ramrod. I was in hysterics.

I think you can also take the sky in this game. That's bigger than a church! However, this is not an official game, it's a fan made freeware, and only a demo exists, so it doesn't really count.

I always found it funny that you can take ridiculously large things and put it in your pocket, and it's one of the things I like in true adventure games. I think this phenomenon was called "magic pockets" in Space Quest 2. After years of gaming, I came to the conclusion that ladders are the biggest things that can be picked up and stored in pockets. It can be done in quite a few adventures, actually, and not only in humorous ones!

In the game "Archibald Applebrook's Abenteuer" you can pick up several normal sized and some that are too large for normal pockets (as if that ever was a problem ). But it's especially funny since Archibald is a scotsman in full gear (no bagpipes ), and keeps his entire inventory in that ridiculously small satchel that is worn over the kilt. They even animated how he puts the things in there.

In "Jolly Good Roger's Quest for King Minnous," you pick up a T-Rex and put if in your pocket. It's funny because after Johnnus picks up the dinosaur, it shrinks down to the size of a tea bag.

What annoys me about this inventory issue is the inconsistency of some games. Take Simon the Sorcerer for example - you can pick up a ladder, as someone has already stated. But try to pick up a beehive and Simon will complain that it is too large...

A thing your aunt gave you which you don't know what it is in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Alternately, a splitting headache in the same game.

An Adventure by a small, now dead (I think) company called "Software 2000". I got it on a CD that came with a (now also dead) Computer Magazine. Ironically the company's offices were located in my town (just as the german offices of Sunflowers Entertainment and SIERRA were at some point). That's why I know that the company was very small. They were in a small building, which only had a floor level and a first level. I saw it from the train, when coming from school.

It is quite funny. A scottish secretary going on a trip to investigate strange happenings in Iceland, which turn out to be the doing of Yetis (which are actually intelligent Aliens). It's strange, but really funny.

Sounds interesting. Was it a 3rd person oldschool adventure? Did it ever had an English release?

I doubt it has ever been released in any language other than german. I believe it is quite difficult to find anyway. But if I hear that there was an english release after all, I will tell you.

It was a third person oldschool cartoon adventure. Also, I wrote something incorrectly. He's not a secretary, but a Librarian ([Thundercats impression]Scottish Library-Power Woooooooo...![/Thundercats impression])

It was put out by Digivox games in 1997 (I hear they make phone stuff now). Probably one of the best unknown adventures i've ever played. The 2D graphics are combined with a few 3D elements that look amazing. It looks similar to titan AE.

And don't forget "no tea" and large amount of pocket fluff
