Nope, don't recognize it. Looks like "System Shock" meets "Under a Killing Moon".

It's more like "Zero Critical" meets "Amerzone".

Zero Zone
(Very clever, zobraks. This game just happens to be very last title that turns up in the search at TheLegacy.de under sci-fi adventures from the 1990s!)

OK, AG Scene Game faithful, here is the next scene:
In addition to correctly identifying the game, you must also identify the object in the scene!

It's a seismograph beside the Kang bed from The Legend of Lotus Spring.

Yes, it is a seismograph, or at least a very ornate earthquake detector. However, this pic was not taken from The Legend of Lotus Spring.

Okay, I think I found out which game it is but only by researching this device; I find it a fascinating invention.
Here's a real one: So my guess is "Qin: Tomb of the Middle Kingdom"

Yep, you're right Little Writer! Qin: Tomb of the Middle Kingdom is correct. My pic above is just the close-up shot of the seismograph in the underground tomb. You can only see partial views of it (slideshow format) in your wanderings of the caverns.

Haha, my turn!
Removed the character and interface. Probably not that difficult (I haven't played many other than mainstream AG's).

I think it's from the godawful Cruise for a Corpse. That's the place with the second Tintin reference. And possibly other plot development.

That's not fair, you're in France
Yeah, those guys from Delphine sure knew how to screw up an interesting premise. Other than those insanely strict timed triggers (and the fact that Raoul is too much of prick to get his hands dirty), I still enjoy playing this game now and again. Post away!

OK, let's try this (it might be a bit hard, though the game itself is not particularly obscure):
