The catalogue
Hi guys,
I received some money for my birthday, transferred it to my Paypal account and now I'm wondering what to do with it. First some questions: Sam & Max or Tales of Monkey Island aren't available through AS, right? I saw them on Steam, but then you DON'T get the complete season disc, right? That's only when you order straight from Telltale? Also, I'm what you'd call a "returning" adventure gamer. Most recent games I've played are "The Longest Journey", "Runaway" and "Sam & Max" (got the season two disc from eBay today!). So if someone who is coming from the LucasArts classics and Sierra's "Gabriel Knight" is going to spend his money on something more recent, what would you suggest? I played a demo of "Overclocked" which was really interesting, so that would be my first idea. A logic decision would be "Dreamfall" but I'm hearing some bad things about a combat sequence? I had some hopes for "Mata Hari" but reviews make it sound dull. How about the "Still Life" - "Post Mortem" special offer?

"Still Life" - "Post Mortem" special offer would be my advice
Also "A Vampyre Story" + "Ceville" are good games.

I'd say, go with Dreamfall. The combat sequences are easy... No, wait: 'easy' make them sound too hard! They are a breeze. And the story is just wonderful.
