In one mission (I think it was in the desert where you had to get into an underground bunker) I remember just walking through the level killing everyone I saw, and I did it on the first attempt. No stealth, no skill. I really hope there's nothing like that in the new game.

If you're referring to the Osama Bin Laden hunt like one, you don't have to go guns blazing, I think I killed 3 people including the target all up on that one (Edit: actually weren't there two targets on that mission?).

The game is about freedom, so I really don't understand people complaining when the game doesn't 'force' them to play it stealthy. Clearly those who go in guns blazing when the stealth opportunity is not revealed immediately need to develop a little patience. Splinter Cell still has years of learning apparently before it can create Hitman 2 worthy missions.
