Try this if you haven't. If you're a fan of the Aliens films, this is THE game to play at night. |

The keyboard controls are excellent. The character is swiftly responsive, it's more a matter of coordination with the mouse camera views and character controls, especiailly during combat, which is easy to master. BTW, have you done this and this in the game? I love these little touches.

Hehe...yes, I made Farah uncomfortable on a number of occassions. These extra touches, though not necessary, add more dimension, and helps breathe life into the characters.

I'm busy playing Star Trek Elite Force II at the moment, but don't get that unless you liked the first one or are a Star Trek fan .
You might enjoy Return to Castle Wolfenstein, though the zombie bits are terrible. AvP games are fun. |

I'd like to call them action games or shooters. FPS is just a specific type of shooter. Personally, I'd like to see more action games go this route:
1.Change camera angle. On the fly, you can switch b/t TP (third-person) and FP (first-person) at your own will. Games like Hitman 2 allow this. 2.RPG elements. I'd like to see a game w/ some stat building for your character a la Deus Ex 1. 3.Options for decision-making and non-linearity. I'd like to see more games allow you to make decisions (good, bad, neutral) on what to do, given a situation -- like you see in the original Deus Ex when you are down there and can decide what to do with a drug dealer down in one of the underground sewer levels. For example, you could decided: 1.Should I whack him for a gang (and/or myself)? 2.Or shall I just leave him be and do some other quests? 3.Or shall I help him? |

America's Army is fun to play, if you're into realistic multiplayer FPS... but it's, well, american. Like too american. But involving.
