Good point. No sense being too limited in our diminutives. Fovily was always my favorite of Trep's nicknames for people.

(I had favorites among Trep's nicknames for people? :eek: )

Ninthily doesn't work too well either, but besides -ie there's -ette, -er, -ess, -en, -el . . . um. Well, can't do it in the abstract. Plus -o, -man, -ia, -ster. For awhile there seemed to be a fad among people I knew for adding -ling to people's names (like "Trepling" or "fovling"

)

Ninthling? Nah.

I found the comics in the city library. Why anyone had wanted porn comics to be stocked there is beyond me. They don't stock porn films in the library, fer god's sake!

Incidentally, I did think "Wow! I've really arrived. I got a nickmname" at the time. Didn't comment on it then because I thought I might be reading too much into it but this thread has reassured me.
