Beats me.

Wait, is this an antivirus thread? Ouch.

It was, but it spiralled off topic rather quickly.

It seems that AVAST is well-reviewed across the board.

Any free program that (a) has a website full of spelling mistakes and (b) requires me to manually scan the hard disk because it can't be scheduled properly is no real friend of mine.

That pic of Jazzy has been posted on the forum. I think she's eating an octopus or something like that?

And, Rob, what's wrong with having a crush on fovily and Scoot? I do. Come on, give in to the truth and admitt it. It will make you feel better, I promise.

Aside from the fact that I'm not gay, coupled with the age difference, not a huge amount.

As Emily is (I suspect) closer to your age than to mine, you might want to clarify that a little further.

Yeah, it does background scanning on file access and automated definition updates. It's basically a full featured AV solution that's offered for free. The catch is you have to renew the free license once a year, but that takes like 2 minutes and isn't a big deal

I hasten to add that I am *not* trying to call fov old. A few years older than me, but that's not particularly hard given that I'm only two weeks past my 19th birthday .

Since I got that phrase from "Antiques Roadshow", I guess I am now officially old. Eh, it happens.

Make sure you "buff" your patina to keep it nice and shiny!

Meh, at least you're rare and in excellent condition and can fetch a very high price compared to tempsie's cheap laminate over a balsa wood base.

AVG Free is another good one, while we're on the subject. You can also schedule a daily scan if that's your "thing", Lacemeister. It's very good.
