True, Fosters is really more of an export product. Whilst you can get it here, it's not what you'd call the local's choice. I still thoroughly enjoyed the one you gave me, Melanie .

One of the more popular Australian brews is Victoria Bitter:


On the (slightly) more upmarket side, there's Crown Lager:


However, my very un-Australian poison of choice is Corona :


And you won't catch me saying no to wine or spirits either (except rum and bourbon).

Edit: Am I the only one concerned by the phallic imagery in this post?

I'll will keep that in mind the next time I get a 6 pack. I'm always interested in trying new beers.
