I won't be able to solve the problem unless I can reproduce it. I think I have an old Geforce256 lying around at my parents' house, so hopefully I can.
In the meanwhile, it'd help me greatly if you can tell me more about your system. OS, RAM, video card driver, etc. Please feel free to PM me.

I use a GF 5200 and the game runs fine with it.
