Just played the demo, and liked it. The only annoying thing was that I for some reason missed the solution to the timed puzzle, so I kept dying (it wasn't much more than an annoyance, because of the player-friendly but slightly illogical resurrection system in the game).

Also, for some reason, the game didn't perform very well on my system. The first movie stuttered quite a bit, and the framerate was pretty low. Never had any such problems with RTMI.

All in all, it was a nice demo, and I'll be buying it if it carries the same price tag as RTMI.

Interesting. I had similar problems with the Echo demo, but did not experience them with the full game. No trouble at all with the Voyage demo.

Yes fov, as you know we used to read adventure game forums !

FYI, it's possible to have all the little pictures of the story with the demo ...

REeeeheheeeeeheheheeheeeeeeeally?

How interesting... a demo with replayability! A rare jewel indeed.

Congrats on a first-rate job, ladies and fellas of Kheops. How do you retain such high quality? You've got some great visual artists, that's for sure. What's their background?

Hello, mysterious Frenchman!

Thanks for letting us know about the pictures. Guess I know what I'll be doing tonight...

I'm guessing... but knowing you apparently look like Ally McBeal, I'm probably thinking of something else, like a shower or something... rofl

Maybe a week-end with a sweet adventure game would make you feel better?

This looks like another winner from this talented development team. I beat Return to Mysterious Island. It was so short! Hopefully this game will have more of their signature content. This is great stuff.

Is there a walkthrough for the demo or some tips on how to get all the little pictures. I can complete the demo but I am all out of ideas on how to get all the pictures.

Hi, KSTeam! Great to have you with us. Don't be a stranger, as you've got a lot of Kheops supporters around here.

The demo does indeed look like a fun return to what made RTMI so enjoyable, with a few tricks, to boot. Looking forward to the moon landing.

Ditto.

I'll be buying this game no matter the cost, because I loved the demo. It seems even better than RtMI, albeit harder.

By the way, I feel like this game is much closer in spirit to Verne's books than RtMI was.

The beginning part seems to be. But I think all bets will be off once Michel gets out of the capsule (considering he never did get off the capusle in the books!)

I still haven't managed to get all the pictures, either. I can't figure out what triggers the bubble thing (which then triggers the end of the demo). Is it time-related? Maybe I should replay the whole demo from the beginning.

I've played is three or four times, and I believe that it's time related.

As for being faithful, well, I said "in spirit". The mechanical, exploration, adventure, 19th century, weird characters atmosphere feels like the atmosphere of a Verne book (not only the one where they go to the moon).

Hi,

First of all, depending on whether you have all the pictures or not, the game will be slightly different on the moon ...i.e. You can discover all the pictures now ... or later !

******** Spoiler ***********
- Find a way to read what was written on the burnt paper close to the chicken
- Maybe something to do with the hat !

******** Spoiler ***********

New tips very soon ...

I'm really impressed with the multiple solutions capability in Kheops Studio production. Am eagerly waiting for the release of this wonderful game.

Love the narration of the pictures by the way. Sounds corny...

KSTeam, what triggers the weightlessness scene and the end of the demo? Is it just a matter of how much time you've spent playing, or is there a certain event that triggers it? I'm trying to experiment and do other things but the demo keeps ending on me before I get a chance!

Spoiler:
I did manage to send Barbicane's body into space, but then I went weightless before I had a chance to send Nicholl's out.
