ugh its always the case that in the UK we have to wait ages for Japanese games (Final Fantasy took 16 years!) and for american games (Frequency, Amplitude and Mark Of Kri each took over a year) and still get the ones that are actually made here last *sigh*

Well. The first six games were never originally released in Europe. So, the first FF was released 1987 in Japan, 1990 in the US, but never in Eu.

But. Because of the success of the previous Final Fantasies released in Europe (7 through 10, FF Anthology etc.), they decided to release the original game here as well, in a bundle with FF2. Seen that way, it took 16 years, but I think it's a ridiculous comparison.

The first FF to be originally released over here was FFVII, and we had to wait 10-11 months for that one.

We had to wait for 14years before the announcement Dr Who will return (hehe I had to fit it in somewhere... And I don't care what anyone thinks about it, it's a brilliant prog )
