If I win, I'll probably keep it.
Just being honest.

Add my name to the list as well. If I win, I'll give you something back (not necessarily a game, though)

Put me down for some of that, too.
Actually, if I win, I'll likely share it on again. The idea of passing gaming experiences around fascinates me and I'd be tempted to do it myself but I don't really have anything rare enough in my collection to be worthwhile. It's a wonderfully communistic idea though, so I approve. I might have to hunt around in my games collection later to see if I can stage something similar. I really approve of this though, it means that everyone turns out as equal and no person, regardless of monetary holding or stature has the chance of gaining the prize over any other. Good for you, OP! As for how to decide randomly, may I suggest borrowing a top hat from somebody, scribbling all the names down on bits of paper, scrumpling them up, shaking the hat around and then drawing the names from that? (Edit: Removed a random 'ing' that definitely shouldn't have been there.) |

And the winner is...
Congratulations to bruno321 who got the lucky ballot in at the very last minute. And I do mean very last minute (as in posted 0 minutes ago when I closed the entries).
Hope You enjoy the game and I'll PM you for your mailing address. Hopefully I'll get it in the mail soon, but knowing me... And sorry to all the other runners up (all 23 of you), but with any luck bruno321 will choose to pass the game along when he's done. William |

Congrats, Bruno! Don't feel pressured about passing the game along when you're finished. I know I would have kept it to myself had I got it.

Congrats Bruno321 and no hard feelings.
This does sort of make me want to look through my gaming collection and pass on some of the stuff I haven't played in ages.

That would be pretty sweet if a lot of us starting "spreading the goodness" of their lesser played games. If only my collection was a lot bigger.

Congratulations there, Bruno! I share the sentiment of 'no hard feelings' because I know anyone posting in this thread would truly appreciate the game and as long as the game is going to someone who appreciates it, I feel no resentment over that whatsoever.
Chane: Yeah, that would be truly awesome, that's why I started that Phoenix Wright giveaway. It's a really good idea, to be honest and I think that in a community as mature as this one (and it is, surprisingly so), such an idea could really take off. I think there are a lot of good people here who'd enjoy partaking in a sort of honour-system borrow and pass around. |
