Ah, I missed that "RPG" part.
Yes, it's Salammbo. And the scantily clad woman actually is Salammbo (the character). See? By the way, I'm not sure if the game was ever sold with the "Peril..." subtitle. Mobygames, for one, lists it only as a working title.

OK, new game...
This is "one of these japanese games" I posted this because most regular adventures I've played are all quite mainstream, and hence way too easy to guess I finished this game a few years ago, and I remembered it because it has quite a good story (there are lots of these games that aren't worth clicking through) |

Correct!! I' m surprised you got that so fast, especially since it's "not an adventure" by your standards
(while most of these games are pretty boring and don't require any thinking, I do consider them to be adventures in terms of story telling, mouse clicking etc. ) If you want me to post another one (same genre? ), you'll have to wait until the weekend, though... Otherwise, your turn. |

Well if no one else is posting, I'll just throw this out there (ignore it if Gonchi or Bird put something up):

Crap. You're right. I never will.
I'm gonna say Lost in LA, because I didn't finish that and I don't recall seeing that screenie in Search for the King - even though it was probably 12 years since I last played it anyway.

Oh, so close!! It was a very good guess though, but unfortunately that just isn't the right game. I'll give you just one more chance to get it right (hint: it's part of the end sequence of the game, occurring shortly after our hero, dressed as the King, for whom he was searching earlier, is trampled by a mob of fans).

It looks Zork-like but that's based on nothing since I haven't actually played a single Zork game. So you should probably just ignore me.

It's not a Zork, but it is a game that, probably, not many have played. It had a sequel. Same name. Just with '2' after it.
