2010 Aggie Awards - Readers’ Choice poll

Written by AG Staff
It will take you one minute to read this feature.

With the 2010 Aggie Awards almost upon us, it’s time for you to put your hanging chads where your mouth is! You’ve seen our own final nominees, but any developer will tell you that it’s the Readers’ Choice awards that mean the most to them. (Of course, they say the same to us about the staff awards, but only in private.)

Below is a complete list of categories open for voting. Only one vote per category is allowed. To make your choice, simply select the appropriate game from the drop-down menu available for each question. If you wish to pass on certain categories, simply pick the "No answer" selection from the menu. There is one write-in vote for Best Character; if submitting an entry for that, please list both the name of the character you’re nominating and the game in which he/she/it/they appear.

This poll works solely on the honour system, so we haven’t taken any precautions to avoid ballot-stuffing (although your IP address will be logged after submitting a survey). We do ask, however, that you limit yourselves to only one entry. One ballot per person is how voting works best, and we trust that no one will abuse the system. In the same way, we ask that you vote only for games you feel are deserving of victory. This is all just for fun, but spoiling votes just ruins the fun for everyone. In the unlikely event of suspicious voting activity, we’ll deal with that at the time, but we’re confident that won’t be necessary.

Voting will end on Monday, February 14th, and winners will be unveiled in our final Aggie Awards presentation over the course of three days, beginning February 16th.

Notes

No applicable games have been excluded from the voting list to ensure full impartiality. Only titles that are ineligible for a specific criterion (first-person, voice acting, etc.) have been omitted from those categories.

For the sake of administrative simplicity, Blue Toad Murder Files, Doctor Who: The Adventure Games, and Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse have been listed as a single entity. Nominations can be based on individual episodes or the series in its entirety.
