What. A. Piece. Of. Overhyped. Crap.

Epic Games sure isn't what they used to be.
And what's with this Windows Live Gamer account nonsense? I couldn't even save the game because I didn't have one.

Also the game was quite a systemhog, I was playing with a fairly good computer and even on medium details the frame rate slowed down at some points quite a lot.

Let me say this, if this game is one of the best that Xbox360 can offer, then I'm not impressed.

I don't agree it's crap, overhyped, yes, but far from crap. This is a game that doesn't come to its right until you play it in coop mode on insane difficulty. Then it's a blast ;)

Anyway, I'm currently playing Twilight Princess and just reached Sky City. I'm not sure what to make of this game. It feels like a 3D remake of A Link to the Past. In that sense it's a good thing and while I'm certainly enjoying myself, I do every now and then feel like I've done this once before...

I noticed you didn't mention the Scrin campaign there. After you complete it as both GDI and NOD you unlock a few extra missions which you play as the Scrin. Wouldn't want you to miss that. :)

Nancy Drew and the ghost dogs of Moonlake. Just got out of the burning shed after I was knocked out.

UFO : Enemy Unknown - Veteran difficulty.

It's been ages since I've played this but it's amazing how addictive it is. Running it under DOSBox and it works like a dream with everything happening at a sensible speed as well.

The time has advanced to June 1999 (6 months into the game) and I have six bases covering the world pretty evenly. Mutons have started appearing, which is a pain because my current weaponry (Plasma Rifles) can't always take them down in a single shot. Better switch research to Heavy Plasma soon. Seriously kicking alien butt though. Everyone is giving me more money each month except the UK (who got infiltrated while I was getting established and have pulled out)

It was more like 3 times for me.

I know about the Scrin campaign, I played the two first missions of it.
I think it's quite a lot shorter campaign than the two main campaigns which I had all my interest in?

My main idea behind playing C&C3 was to see the Joe Kucan NOD cutscenes. :D

Bought it a while back but hadn't started until now, the original Fallout.

Got Fallout I, II & Tactics all in one for £6 including postage. Not bad, thought it was worth the risk even though these aren't usually my kind of game.

Of the little I've played (only in Shady Sands) I'm enjoying it to a certain extent although I am annoyed about the obtrusive options sticking out at the bottom and the controls are a slight pain.

Haven't figured out how to combat yet, but I specifically chose the guy who's more of a talking person so hopefully I don't have to worry too much about fighting every 5 minutes.

So long as this game doesn't take 40+ hours to complete I'm hoping to stick with it to the end.

Super Metroid
Pretty fun. Dated compared to Metroid Prime, but it still keeps my interest. The music and Metroid atmosphere is intact even after all these years :) .

Stubbs the Zombie, my second try. It's nothing extraordinary, but I'm having fun so far. The dance challenges can be quite hard to pull off, especially on a keyboard, but thankfully, it seems they're optional.

Scurge Hive, At the boss of the Forest Area (Hard Mode).

Burnout Paradise. Having just earned my Burnout license, I'm working on getting the Elite license, which is going to take me forever.

Icewind Dale 2

Just started the challenges of the Eight Chambers at the monastery. Things like serene meditation, flower arranging and tonsure cutting.

Not really. :P You have to solve a series of puzzles whilst being attacked by magical monks representing the room's element (at least so far I have) Beaten the Stone and Shadow chambers. Did I mention they take all your gear off you and then supply a small cache of basic weapons to defend yourself with? Managed to beat most of the stone monks off just using my fists. :)

One of my favorite games, I must have finished it three or four times and I rarely replay games. How far have you gotten so far?

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition

Just reached chapter 2. My hand is aching from holding that Wiimote! :shifty:

Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast is simply amazing!

insane_cobra 01-31-2008 04:03 PM

Did I mention that I want Outrun's children? Seriously, I can't recall when I last had this much fun playing a video game. It's so bloody fast. And fun. And fast.

Fighting Odd Eye right now.

Marrow 02-01-2008 07:50 AM

Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, at the part where you fight Lyon.
If I remember, he has an attack that can hit 3-10 squares.
Magical Starsign, Razen, at the dwarfs village.

Sonic Rush
What idiot decided to place an irritating boss as the THIRD LEVEL of this game?

I'm seriously, seriously irritated by the rolling head attack that this thing has, because even after reading how to deal with it (nothing that I hadn't guessed), I still can't time this right consistently enough to hurt the boss SEVEN times. Get it wrong just once and you have to start the whole irritating process again.

Gah. Shame, because the first couple of levels were kind of fun. But at this rate, I'm not even going to reach the second world :(. I should have got Brain Training instead :shifty:.
