OH MY GOD!!! Another Iris Dement fan! Dude, her duet of "Let's Invite Them Over Again" with John Prine gives me chills every time I listen to it!
Iris' voice combines the best qualities of early Emmylou Harris and Tammy Wynette, and her plaintive, world-weary delivery really showcases the lyrics of classic drinkin', cheatin', hurtin' country songs.

I just listened to that one. It's actually rather depressing, the lyrics - you're being taken for granted in a one-sided relationship and all you want is to love him and give to him, and he just uses you.

That's a pretty one from him. Perfect for a stroll.

I'm not a massive fan of the Stripes, but I'm loving their new look. Meg looks freakin' hot in her victorian getup, and Jack's looking like one cruel dude.

I didn't enjoy their previous efforts, but might give the new one a go. I hear it's their strongest.
