So, let's see if I get this right. We meet at 12 at the meeting point at Amsterdam Centraal? (Have to find out where that is though, of over 4 years of traveling to Amsterdam and back, I can't recall seeing a meeting point :P)

tsa 04-03-2010 02:22 AM

Yes, you're right Luna. Because they are working on the building in the station the meeting point seems to move around a bit, but it's close to one of the entrances in the front of the building. It's not hard to find. There is a big metal flag there with the words "Meeting Point" on it if I remember correctly.

Do you think this will happen?

Impossible. We would pick them all up because they aren't nailed down. And we would mysteriously hide them all somewhere in our clothing.

Something about the weather in Amsterdam: it will probably not be very warm, and sunny with clouds. So take warm clothing with you. It's not summer yet! Here is a website that shows the predicted weather for the coming week in Amsterdam. But I guess you can find a similar website in your own language.

Some more info about the costs of the day: the round trip with the boat will cost around 12 - 15 €. The dinner will be 30 € without drinks. I guess if someone has a problem paying that we can make an arrangement.

See you on Saturday guys! Greetings from a very sunny Enschede.

My father just told Maruca that the wheelchair has been arranged.

Jelena 04-06-2010 09:39 AM

So that means we don't get to carry you around Amsterdam? :frown:

;)

And you carry me? :P

UPtimist 04-07-2010 01:11 AM

Just remember to take the pants with the big pockets.

(Or trousers if you're a Sassenach)

Luna Sevithiainen 04-07-2010 01:16 AM

To put Step in? :P

UPtimist 04-07-2010 11:53 AM

Yeah (and the rest of you too, I suppose). Just "pick up".

Or "use", but that might result in something undesirable too.

Or, you know, if you happen to come by a possibly useful ladder.

(Edit): Also, remember to always look at things and say out loud what you think about them. Like:
"Hmm... That's just an old lamp"
or
"That's Lena and her husband. Too bad they're happily married"
"Wh- Hey!"

(and of course if you notice someone attractive, you should try what I first mentioned. However be wary of the dreaded "can't pick that up" (or "that doesn't work") (Edit2: And of course don't confuse picking something up with picking me. No matter how much you try to "pick UP", it won't work 'cause I'm not there))

It's a shame you're not coming UPtimist. Hurry and check the flights to Amsterdam!

I mean it!

You don't want to annoy the Russian Assassin in Leather do you? :D

They are? Why didn't anybody tell me!!! I won't bother coming then.

Oh, hang on. I'm happily married as well. Guess I can come after all. :)

I will comment on every piece of furniture and give my opinion about it. And I'll ask every beautiful girl that passes by to sit on my lap.
