well-made and modern sequel to an adventure game classic. some nice locations to explore in an interesting world with lots of potential. would have been nice to dive deeper into the world and its characters, some things felt a bit rushed, like just scratching the surface of a more complex world in the about 11 hours of playing time.
the hacking was a nice addition to the gameplay. i just wish there would have been more visible effects to all of the non story relevant hacks you can do, or at least achievements for it. locking up the poet in the VIP lounge was fun, though…
the game’s obviously optimized for consoles, so best controlled via gamepad. and it works well with one, aside from a very few occasions where it feels a bit clunky.
technically it’s okay. the graphics are solid but nothing extraordinary. and it’s relatively bug and glitch free (PS4 version 1.01) compared to other microids titles in recent years. i only had to reload a savegame once, early at the city gates, because i was stuck thanks to a glitch that didn’t let me enter a door i had to enter to continue.

The best adventure I've played this year
I read this game was good, but I delayed it, being very expensive for my standard, until I got it 40% off.
This game really impressed me. It got me years back, just as it was in the golden age of the adventure games, when every next game was really, really good… Good times.
The story (which is maybe the most important part for me) was great, the characters and the voice acting too.
The graphics were pretty good, cartoonish (similar to borderlands) and the music nice. There were also small jokes and easter eggs from the previous parts.
This is one of the games that I felt very good when finishing it, but at the same time sad because it was over.
I believe that this left me videogame hangover and I won’t be able to start another game for some time now…
