In 2025, there will be a lot of big game releases, and among them, there’s a special category for funny games. If you want to have a good time, check out our selection. All the games in our list feature sharp humor, great graphics, and interesting dialogues.
1. Lucky Tower Ultimate
A game with humor elements, featuring a hand-drawn look and nice animation. The game became available in early access on September 13, 2024, and is developed by Studio Seufz.
In this game, you control a not-so-smart knight who ends up locked in a tower with lots of confusing passages. Every time you open a new door, you have no idea what’s behind it.
Along the way, you’ll meet other knights who’ll want to join your escape. You’ll also find different items on each level that you can use as weapons to fight enemies.
2. Liar's Bar
A PC game on hot sale recently since October 2, 2024. It was created by the Curve Animation company. The game is a digital poker simulator that simulates playing cards. The idea is that you virtually have to get ahead in the game by cheating and deceiving the other five players. It is next to impossible to win without cheating.
Still, the trick is to be wise about your cheating because if they catch you, you’ll be forced to play “Russian Roulette.” The player loads a revolver with only one bullet and then puts the muzzle in front of his/her temple, and shoots.
It’s a heart-pounding gamble that demands nerves of steel, much like the rush you might get from spinning the reels on online slot machines combined with your gaming skills, the game features a pretty unique animated style.
The game will occur at the table where the characters are animals like pigs, foxes, and dogs. At the beginning of the round, you will select the character you want to use – it is simply a visual choice and will in no way influence your playstyle
3. DUCKSIDE
Another adventure game that will keep you entertained for a free evening. Since September 25, you can download it for your PC in early access. It’s developed by tinyBuild Riga, and as the name suggests, the plot centers around ducks. The genre is open-world survival, where you control a duck that fights against other ducks.
The ducks are armed with AK-47s, and they can gather various resources to build their homes.
The game’s location is an island with plains and mountains that you’ll need to explore. Chop down trees, kill enemies, and don’t forget that every monument on the island poses a deadly danger to the ducks.
4. Space for Sale
Tired of the same old space games? Then you’ll love this humorous space-building simulator called Space for Sale. The game features futuristic graphics – unusual plants and local fauna.
You can play it starting June 30, though it’s still in early access, with developers adding new features and locations to explore. The full version is set for release in 2025. The game is developed by Mirage Game Studios, and the main goal is to build a base on a planet where no human has ever set foot.
The game has plenty of tasks – build fences for local animals, create your own base, gather resources, and use them for upgrades. As you progress, you’ll also be able to establish communication with the local inhabitants.
Selling them resources will help you earn money, which you can use to buy new inventions. Developers promise to add several picturesque planets in the final version, so you’ll definitely have a lot to do.
5. Subterranauts
This is a pretty unusual multiplayer game where humor elements mix well with horror. You can download the early version on Steam now, while the full version will be released in 2025. You can play with 2 to 6 players, and the main goal is to explore scattered buildings. But you won’t just explore – you’ll collect scrap metal to sell.
For all the metal resources you gather, you can earn decent money. But be prepared, it’s not going to be easy – every building you explore will have dangerous monsters trying to wipe out your team.
Always stay in touch with your teammates – that’s the only way you can both gather your loot and make it out of the abandoned building alive.
5. Protect My Cheese
A strategy game in the “Tower Defense” genre where, as the title suggests, you need to protect a piece of cheese. The main heroes here are, surprisingly, cats. They build various combat structures to protect the cheese from rats.
Strategy skills are crucial in this game – only the right choice of structures and their placement on the map will help you achieve the desired result.
The game is developed by Homesick Games, and it’s available in early access since October 10. The full version with all improvements and bug fixes is expected to be released in 2025.
