Bookworms

Bookworms - Cover art

Laura is a poor young librarian who lives in the outskirts of London alongside her sick grandmother above their book restoration shop. Society is crumbling around her and life is hard, but Laura is optimistic and has a lively imagination to keep her going, along with her cat Scruffy and of course hundreds of dusty books. One day though, Laura’s world changes as a mysterious man leaves her with a book that teleports her to a library. There he tells her that there are more worlds than ours, suffering from similar problems, each represented by a book. Something is destroying the worlds from within, and he needs Laura to help him fix it.
