Our Verdict:

Essentially The Journeyman Project with a fresh coat of paint, Pegasus Prime is an interesting bit of nostalgia but an otherwise underwhelming game. Recommended primarily for serious TJP fans.

The Good:

  • Improved graphics and production values over the original
  • solid storyline and well-built game world
  • logical and well-integrated puzzles.

The Bad:

  • Goofy controls
  • backtracking can get a bit tedious
  • pointless maze puzzle
  • underwhelming locations (for a game based on time travel)
  • no substantial gameplay improvements over the original.
