When one thinks of crime mysteries, thoughts probably turn first to English parlours, hard-boiled private eyes, modern CSI labs, or maybe even dystopian cyberpunk futures. But seventh century China? Not so much. Nupixo Games is hoping to change that perception, however, with their retro-styled point-and-click adventure Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders. In Gamewalker's latest edition of Inside Adventure Gaming, the indie Canadian developer offers us a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their upcoming tale of murder and political intrigue during the Tang dynasty and the reign of empress Wu Zetian.
