Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist, one of those kids that randomly walk through the main street. I think :P

Fantasysci5 07-29-2010 08:56 AM

Afraid it's not either of those...:frown: The kid also says, "Lookout!"...Not that that helps a lot. :P

Luna Sevithiainen 07-29-2010 09:19 AM

Hmm....is it then King's Quest 5, in that city where there are also random people (including a kid?) walking around?

Fantasysci5 07-29-2010 09:39 AM

Ding-ding-ding! We have a winner! Yes, it was a little boy in the town. I really loved his line, it made me giggle everytime. Your turn! :)

Luna Sevithiainen 07-30-2010 06:37 AM

Yay :)

Here's the next one: "My feet are killing me!"

tsa 07-30-2010 09:23 AM

Bs3! Edit: for some reason the s is changed from capital to lowercase each time I press Post.

Luna Sevithiainen 07-30-2010 01:56 PM

It could be that the quote also comes from BS3, but it is not the one I'm referring to...

I'm not sure if this phrase is used in some other adventure title aswell, but for me, it will always evocate "Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror". :)

Here's an easy one:

"Well, if it isn't Gustav, my one-eyed pal. I see that the eye they ripped out of you hasn't grew back either"

It would be wise to wait for Luna to confirm if you're right or not, wouldn't it?

Didn't Brandon complain about that about a million times in The Legend of Kyrandia? (I never understood if it was supposed to be funny, or just some inside joke...)

That's Runaway A Road Adventure
Now let's get back to the main one

That's right!

P.S. I'm sorry I didn't wait for Luna to respond; I've got carried away. But I'm almost positive that I'm right about the answer. ;)

This was the one I had in mind. When clicking on Brandon he would often complain, especially about his feet and how he would give anything for a pair of sandals.

It could be that it is also coming from BS2, but I don't remember that one.

So, your turn Kurufinwe :)

Kurufinwe 08-01-2010 08:22 AM

Thank you Luna.

Ok, this one should be easy (and I doubt it appears in more than one game!): "It's a douche for the soul."

Crow was funnier in Dreamfall than in TLJ ;).

Kurufinwe 08-01-2010 10:03 PM

Yup, you're right Sik. Your turn.

Okay, just in case this quote is in more than one game I'll provide a hint right away. This is not from a conversation between two young children:

"Let's be friends."

Probably that as well, so I'll be more specific. The quote is from a serious conversation between two adults, and it's not a comedy game (not voluntarily anyway).
