It’s another treasure hunt for The Goonies in Cash Inferno

Blueprint Gaming has returned to one of its most successful branded slot franchises with The Goonies Cash Inferno, introducing a new Money Collect mechanic alongside upgraded Skeleton Keys and an evolving bonus feature.

Inspired by the 1980s adventure film, the game brings the familiar gang back for another hunt filled with hidden treasure, colored keys, and plenty of opportunities to collect cash prizes.

The headline Cash Inferno feature can be activated by landing coloured Skeleton Keys alongside a Goonies Never Say Die symbol on reels one or six. Once triggered, the keys collect prizes displayed within a golden panel positioned to the left of the main reels.

Colored Skeleton Keys offer different modifiers

Each Skeleton Key comes with its own collection ability.

Green Keys gather a single cash value whenever they appear, while Blue Keys can collect as many as five prizes at once. Red Keys arrive with multipliers attached, potentially increasing every value they collect during the feature.

Also returning is the Treasure Trail, one of the series’ most recognizable mechanics. Every Green Gem that lands moves players further along the path towards hidden rewards.

Reaching four key milestones grants bonus picks that are carried into the Bonus Game, while completing the entire trail triggers the feature immediately.

Inferno Spins can also be activated through Scatter symbols. Three Scatters provide the traditional route into the round, while landing four automatically completes the Treasure Trail and launches the feature with any previously unlocked bonus picks still available.

During Inferno Spins, standard symbols are removed, leaving only Skeleton Keys, Goonies Never Say Die symbols, and Bonus symbols on the reels.

Golden One-Eyed Willy can also appear throughout the feature, unlocking up to four upgrade levels. Each upgrade improves the Cash Inferno values and increases the potential rewards as the bonus progresses.
