BGaming is saddling up for another #Entertainment release with Dusty Duel, a new Wild West-themed slot that looks to blend gritty frontier visuals with a couple of punchy duel-based mechanics.

Set in a ransacked town with a mysterious blonde heroine watching over the reels, Dusty Duel leans into that rough-around-the-edges Western feel rather than going for something overly polished.

Cowboy hats, coins, cactuses, wooden reels, and a country guitar rhythm help set the scene, giving the game a distinct atmosphere from the off.

Duel features drive the action

At the heart of Dusty Duel are two main feature systems. The first is a more familiar multiplier showdown, playing into the classic gunslinger standoff theme you’d expect from a Western slot.

The second, however, is where BGaming is trying something a bit different. The new Wild or Dead Duel feature adds an unpredictable twist to the reels.

If the Wild outcome lands, the entire reel becomes Wild, opening the door for stronger combinations. If the Dead result hits instead, the reel is cleared completely, leaving behind bullet holes where the symbols used to be.

It’s a neat risk-reward mechanic that fits the theme well, giving every duel a bit of extra tension. In true Western fashion, one outcome can save the spin, while the other leaves it looking like it lost a shootout at high noon.

Bonus modes and Chance 300% add more firepower

Dusty Duel is described as a medium-high volatility slot, so you can expect a more swingy experience rather than a steady drip of smaller wins.

The game also includes three Bonus modes, each increasing in intensity, alongside refilling symbols, Bonus Buy options, and BGaming’s Chance 300% feature, which boosts the chances of triggering Free Spins.

According to Ruslan Shakhlovich, Game Designer at BGaming, the team wanted to push the Wild West theme further by creating a mechanic that felt fresh while still fitting the cowboy setting. The result is a slot that looks familiar at first glance but brings enough mechanical flair to stand out.
