Get Ready to Save the Day with Tachyon Dreams III

Fans of classic sci-fi adventure games have something to look forward to with the release of Tachyon Dreams III: The Rancid Buttermilk from Andromeda. The game is the latest installment in a series of comedy sci-fi text parser adventure games that pay homage to the art style and humor of early Sierra games like Space Quest.

Players will take on the role of Dodger, a dishwasher on a space station who is tasked with fixing a temporal emergency when he is the only person left on board. The game features the same double-wide pixel and EGA palette art style as the previous games in the series. It is made using the GameMaker engine, ensuring compatibility with modern computers.

Tachyon Dreams III is set to be released today, and like the other games in the series, will be available for free on the game's itch.io page. Players can also choose to leave a tip for the developer if they wish.

The first game in the series, Tachyon Dreams I: The Radiant Fish of the Apocalypse, was released in October 2021, and the second game, Tachyon Dreams II: The Bloated Can of Space Root Beer, was released in March 2022.
