Galador: The Prince and the Coward finally braves English release
It’s always a treat when an older game gets rereleased for modern operating systems. It’s even more welcome when said game had never officially been translated into your own language until then. That is precisely the case for English speakers with the 1998 Polish cartoon adventure Galador: The Prince and the Coward, which has now been officially localized and is now available to download more than two decades after its initial launch.
Galador is a classic-styled point-and-click adventure that twists the traditional fairy-tale formula in comical and unexpected ways. Interacting with a diverse cast of characters that includes “scratchy princesses, hard-drinking magicians, anesthetized hermits (and) business-minded gods,” players can expect many conversations "full to the brim with peppered humor.” An “easy-to-use interface” will assist players in guiding Galador through nearly forty unique hand-painted environments, solving numerous puzzles throughout the kingdom along the way.
Anyone interested in finally checking out this long-overdue blast from the past can find the game on GOG for Windows PC.
