NCIS adventure spelled out for October 28th

Written by Jack Allin -

We may not be getting a new CSI game this year from the looks of things, but we'll get all the same letters at least, as Ubisoft today announced NCIS, the first adventure based on the popular TV series.

Now in its ninth season, NCIS follows a team of special agents as they analyze crimes that involve the American Navy and Marines. The game will let players "investigate crime scenes as agents Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo, conduct forensics analyses as Abby Sciuto, perform victim autopsies as Ducky Mallard, interrogate and break suspects as special agent Gibbs, and use satellite tracking to apprehend bad guys on the run as special agent McGee."

Currently under development for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii platforms, the game will include an all new storyline scripted by writers from the TV show, covering four different cases across "exotic environments ranging from a casino in Atlantic City to a luxury hotel in Dubai." A 3DS version is also in development, which will include cases exclusive to Nintendo's handheld system.

NCIS is currently scheduled for release on October 28th.
