Sam & Max 4 stands alone

It's not often that a game has three different release dates, but leave it to Sam & Max: Season 1 to break new ground wherever it goes. Originally released two weeks ago exclusively on GameTap, and then offered for download a week later to full season subscribers, today marks the release of Abe Lincoln Must Die! as a standalone episode.

Available for purchase from the Telltale website for $8.95 US, the new episode sees the canine shamus and hyperkinetic rabbity thing speeding to Washington, as the American President has gone off the deep end, and it's up the the Freelance Police to restore order. Well, Sam & Max-style "order", that is.
