Overclocked lands a worldwide publisher

Written by Jack Allin -

Close on the heels of a German announcement by dtp, developer House of Tales has confirmed a worldwide publishing agreement with ANACONDA for its upcoming adventure, Overclocked. This deal expands the partnership between the two companies which began with a localized release of the acclaimed political thriller, The Moment of Silence.

The third title to be published internationally by ANACONDA, Overclocked is a mature, complex adventure that Creative Director Martin Ganteföhr describes as a "journey into character". Featuring an intuitive interface, pre-rendered backgrounds, and a third-person perspective, the game explores "the subjects of war psychology and war simulation research, focusing on the concept of violence and the different ways of dealing with it. Gamers step into the shoes of a psychiatrist, whose task it to explore the minds and memories of five traumatized young people."

While this signing represents great news for the game, fans have a while to wait yet, as Overclocked is scheduled for release in 2007.
