I Have just started "Barrow Hill"
AT first I was hesitant thinking it might be dull and cheap but so far it actually seems pretty good. I am enjoying the game play very much. |
Saw Dragon Age: Origins on sale for 10 €, so I figured I might as well get it :P
|
Well, just and just, my bf came home with Singstar: Dance recently, but before that I went shopping at the different Christmas/New year sales, so I've bought rather a lot:
Adventure Shop: A Vampyre Story Still Life 2 Black Mirror Black Mirror 2 Memento Mori GOG: Sanitarium (My old version kept crashing so I want to some day finally compete it) Still Life (want to replay before 2) Steam: Lost Horizon (completed) Sherlock Holmes pack Some of the indie packs, giving me among others Captain Brawe, Puzzle bots, Big Brain Wolf, Jolly Rover, Secret of the magic crystal (horsies!), and some others I didn't really want, but came with oh, and Alter Ego And then we got Stacking through Playstation Plus. So.. Many games! |

The other week I bought Black Mirror 2. |
Now I have a good graphics card, which runs Amnesia nice and smooth, and I still haven't played them yet (apart from a demo), I decided to get this collection:

- The Moment of Silence (PC)
- Tales of Eternia (PSP) - Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core (PSP) - Luminous Arc (NDS) I have a pretty decent games and consoles collection, but I want to focus on collecting adventure games and RPGs. Almost all of my purchases will in one of those categories. I'm selling almost eveything else, and will hopefully buy a lot more from the proceeds of those sales :) |
Gemini Rue and Dead Space. (Now there's two completely different games)

BTW I have purchased Discworld Noir whilst being unsure if it will work on my Vista system or not. You see, from what I have read, it's a case of - it may but you will have to do stuff to get it working or it may not. Also, I'm wondering if the Syberia games I have bought are different in any way from the versions that were first released? It has the word re-mastered on the cover so I thought they may be, but I could not find any information about it from searching the internet. |
Oh, man! What a coincidence, Dan_Dan_91_07... That copy of Discworld Noir was sold by none other than me!
:D I'll make sure to get it sent off to you first thing on Monday, if that's okay? EDIT: Whenever I sell an adventure game on ebay, I always wonder if the buyer is aware or a user of Adventure Gamers. Seems to be a possibility after all. :P |
LOL :D
I can't believe that happened! Small world... No, that sounds perfect, thanks. |
Ah... I've only just read what you said above about having a Vista machine... You may have difficulties I'm afraid. I have Vista Home Premium, 32-bit and it crashes every time after the first cinematic. :frown: I was never able to get it working properly.
The only 3 things I can suggest are: 1. Use VirtualPC 2007 with Windows 98 2. Create a Vista and XP dual-boot (what I've done) 3. Play the game on a PC with XP or below If you're sure you can't do any of these things, or get it working, or want a refund, let me know. ;) |
okamiden just came out! the sequel to the greatest action-adventure game ever made :D
|
Man Dan, I'm jealous! I want a lot of those you listed. :P
|
^ So-rrrrrrry for flashing my games at you. I didn't mean to make you jealous. LOL
Yeah, Gaz, I've just bought a XP laptop so hopefully everything will be cool. Thanks anyways mate. |
A bit premature of me, but I am hands down getting on of the "Alien Vs Predators" games. I loved the movies of both, and although I'm not very good with FPS, I love the fact that you can play all three races.
Steam is having a sale for only $5, but I'm wondering if I should buy the new one or the tried-and-true 2000 one, for the same price. Either way, I'm getting one of them. Which one do you guys like better? EDIT: I asked the Steam forums, and after only one reply that said the newer one had better graphics/story, I was determined. I ended up buying the newer version, even though I hate spending the money. :P |
