For the record, I did NOT wear leather in the chapel where my wife and I were married, and I can tell you without a trace of irony that it would have been a significant improvement over the badly tailored suit I wore, though I did at least dress slightly less than traditional, opting for charcoal grey instead of black or white, which have been the perennial groom colours amongst my old school buddies, as far as I can see.
And thank you for the compliments about the photo, everyone. It's about as cool as I get these days, firing up the gear and recording music, which I have been doing quite often in the last few years. I guess this would be the manifestation of my mid life crisis. *shrug*
