Hard-hitting satire.

Christmas Day or New Year's Eve?

tsa 12-19-2008 02:16 PM

I'd have both rather not thanks. But if I really have to choose then New Year's Eve.

Christmas or Easter?

AndreaDraco83 12-20-2008 04:06 AM

Christmas.

The 80s or the 90s?

The 90s. It's like yesterday to me.

Yesterday or tomorrow?

tsa 12-20-2008 04:18 AM

Ouch, the 90s. Everything was ugly back then. Japanese cars were the most boring cars ever to have been designed. We had to put rusty pieces of metal in our house, and curtains that collected dust on the floor because they had to be much longer than necessary. I'll take the 80s thank you. And I guess you agree with me ;)

Yay!

And to answer Jelena question, tomorrow!

Another Time Question: 1700 or 1800? :D

tsa 12-21-2008 01:07 PM

18:00. Time for dinner!

Watch TV or read a book?

AndreaDraco83 12-21-2008 03:30 PM

It depends. But as a more general rule, read a book.

Movie or TV series?

Squinky 12-22-2008 05:36 PM

Movies.

A giraffe or a harmonica?

beat!the!champ! 12-22-2008 06:18 PM

A Giraffe

Log in & Log out or Log on & Log off?

tsa 12-22-2008 08:34 PM

Log in/out.

Rabbit or tofu for Christmas dinner?

AndreaDraco83 12-23-2008 03:58 AM

Hardest choice ever. Even if I hate it, tofu.

(evil mode on )

Rabbit or lamb for Christmas dinner?

tsa 12-23-2008 04:05 AM

Eating animals is natural, not evil. It's a hard choice, however. Lamb is delicious, but I don't eat rabbit often, so rabbit it is.

Shoot your own rabbit, or buy is at the supermarket?

That was me being evil, 'cause I hate both of them, lamb and rabbit, but I'll never imply that eating them is evil - some animals are just too exquisite not to eat them! :D

Since I can't stay the sight of blood, buy it at the supermarket.

Meat or Fish?

Jelena 12-23-2008 06:05 AM

Fish most of the time.
We serve lots of different fish dishes at Christmas Eve.

Big Christmas dinner at Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

AndreaDraco83 12-23-2008 06:10 AM

Christmas Day. We're not used, at least not in this part of Italy, to celebrate the Eve.

Receive or doing presents?

tsa 01-13-2009 10:49 PM

Receive.

Enterprise or Voyager?

AndreaDraco83 01-14-2009 03:32 AM

Enterprise.

Concerning the most eerie, maybe romantic, maybe only atmospheric environment: fog or snow?

bananasloth 01-14-2009 05:23 AM

Mmm, tough one, I like both, but I'd choose fog, cause it won't get all dirty and mushy, unlike snow. :D
Watermelon or honeydew?

Not A Speck Of Cereal 01-14-2009 09:19 PM

Honeydew. Turns out, watermelon is pretty nutritious , but honeydew is swetter.

Janeway or Picard?

tsa 01-14-2009 10:52 PM

Picard, the best starship captain ever.

Data or 7 of 9?

rlpw 01-15-2009 05:35 AM

Data! I hated 7 of 9's funny bug eyes.

Avengers or Justice League?

MoriartyL 01-15-2009 04:49 PM

Avengers.

Villain or anti-hero?

tsa 01-15-2009 07:01 PM

Anti-hero.

Hero or heroine?

Not A Speck Of Cereal 01-16-2009 09:14 PM

Heroine.

Tights or loose stretchies?

Vacation in a hot climate or in a ski resort?

tsa 01-30-2009 03:02 PM

Both are not very appealing to me, which is why I visited a very charming lady and her friendly family in Sweden last year.

Mountains or polders?

Mountains for sure. The whole thing about being below sea level seems a bit scary I have to admit.

Chicken or salmon?

Chicken or salmon?

You will be happy to hear that Enschede is 9 m above sea level ;)

I'll have chicken. I especially like the chicken Mr. J makes. Oh boy I get hungry just thinking about it.

Tulips or daffodils?

Good, that way I'll be able to visit you without fear of drowning.

Yeah, I'm lucky to have a hubby who's really good at preparing yummy meals.

Tulips! I love tulips!

The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?

tsa 02-01-2009 10:12 AM

Stones!

Valentine or a spontaneous 'I love you?'

Giligan 02-01-2009 02:12 PM

Neither. They both require some like form of reciprocation.

Radial engines or gas turbines?

How do you tell people you love them then?

Giligan 02-02-2009 10:03 AM

I was just joking. If I actually had to choose between those two, either would do depending on the circumstances.

Gas turbines. They're much cooler and can run on nearly anything.

bulldog 03-07-2009 03:08 PM

ants

Dinner at home with friends or dinner out with friends

tsa 03-07-2009 11:36 PM

Both. Not on the same day though ;)

DSLR with separate zoom- and macro lenses or expensive all-purpose photocamera with long zoom and macro option?

stepurhan 03-12-2009 09:37 AM

The second one, because it sounds easier to operate (I'm more of a point and click sort of man)

The film or the book?

Squinky 03-12-2009 09:42 AM

Usually the book, but I'll pick the film adaptation if the book's too much of a slog to get through.

Critical success or commercial success?

bulldog 03-21-2009 05:00 AM

commercial success

Book or the internet
