Fate of Atlantis, as someone already mentioned, and also another LucasFilm Games treat, Zak McKracken & The Alien Mindbenders - the jungle scene has always stuck in my mind as beautiful (for its time) artwork and with the right sound effects in the background from the soundcard.
Leisure Suit Larry 2, the whole last act of the game, after escaping from the KGP-infested airplane, is surviving the dangerous Nontoonyt Jungle (soon to be slashed, burned, and developed into a touris resort in LSL3 -- although there is also a large jungle maze and following creatures in LSL3 as well, nearly the whole last 1/3 of the game). |

Very amateur and old school, but I have to throw in Hugo III: Jungle of Doom. Not very good, but the whole thing takes place in a jungle.
|
The Infinity String is one I would suggest (it's freeware, and very well made: http://www.bigbluecup.com/games.php?...=detail&id=901.
Also, Simon the Sorcerer takes place partially in a forest. |
I wonder if Tunguska 2 is still out there for sale in an original DVD.Or if I can find Flight of the Amazon Queen in some collection or So Blonde as well in an original DVD.
|
Flight of the Amazon Queen is freeware these days. Check out http://www.scummvm.org.

There's soooo many great regular forrest games that you should play.
Kyrandia 1-2 Toonstruck Kings Quest 7 Hopkins FBI Simon the Sorcerer 1 Grim Fandango Dreamfalll Loungest Journey Touche 5th Musketeer Are just a few great once I could think of, off the top of my head. |
Noooo no forest games please! Not that I don't like forests, but I prefer jungle adventures! :P
|

There's also Lost Horizon (3.5 is way too low a rating for it on this site :))... the jungle in it is only a small part of the game though... but the game is definitely awesome. Especially if you like the Secret Files games.
http://www.adventuregamers.com/screenshot.php?id=13839 If you have a PS3, the Uncharted games have some sweet jungle too... but they're not adventures. Oh and there's also this Treasure Island http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,1131 not to be confused with Destination: Treasure Island. I've never played it though so I can't vouch for it. |
Try Paradise, I never got around to completing the game, but when I stopped I was in the middle of a large jungle section.
|
I did buy So Blonde and I am looking forward to playing it.Tales of Monkey Island has jungles too and that made me happy,I stopped somewhere in the second episode though!
|
Two of my favourites right there in the first :D
