the download should start immediately (no german is required for demo). Its from the maker of Samorost 1 and 2. In other words its awesome. I already played around with it and its highly recommended. awesome art, nice atmosphere. very gobliinesque. you can also preorder the game from the official website for a mere 11€ or so (i already did :9~ ): http://www.machinarium.com/ |
Thanks! I've just finished it, wonderful and as cute as I expected. ;)
|
Is the game going to be without any texts/dialogues? It isn't stated anything and I want to preorder it but I don't know German (in case that's the language)

download the demo and see for yourself. i think you'll like it |
Thanks tastebud. I already played the demo and as I imagined it's great. Let's hope no dialogues will appear since I just ordered it :)

The demo was short but the game seems great. Although it really bugs me that you can't choose the resolution. It isn't anywhere near fullscreen on my monitor.
|
Does the demo look like it's from the very beginning of the game? I had already preordered it anyway, so I don't really want to spoil the experience otherwise.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure all the previews I had read (at least three, including AG's) stated there would be no dialogues. |
I liked it, the robot is very cute :D
Its easy to see some similarities with Samorost, particularly in some puzzles and in the melancholic mood. |
Really enjoyed the demo, Machinarium is definitly a buy.

Yesterday I forgot to look at the walkthrough that comes with the demo (next to the hint symbol). Love it! And they make you work for it too, shooting spiders first. :D
|
It does look very cool. Kinda reminds me of that claymation game's puzzles.
Update: No DRM! Demo was awesome. |
