Erm, I admit I was heavily involved in a relationship with Bastila but even so, I think those were the only moments of the plot when I was actually awake. I mean, the 'star maps' thing is a downright boring idea to make you go to every planet in hope of completing the game. Side quests and personal plots are definitely good, the main quest is not, unlike Morrowind I'd say.
