Many modern hidden object games are not that far away from adventure games, since they have puzzles, dialog systems and inventory systems. And Jane has stated that the team has experience in that regard and an engine that can handle adventure games (my guess is that it need to be upgraded though).
Jane has also stated that the development setup is different from the Gray Matter development. I'm guessing she gave the GM team a design document and some general directions once in a while, probably due to time restrains or something similar. The Moebius setup sounds much more hands on. Anyway, personally I'm not worried
