I guess that depends on how literally you want the translation to be and what your definition of 'successful' is. The Agatha Christie games aren't half bad, Frogware's Sherlock Holmes mostly not literally based on the books but in the same vein, Dracula games, Jules Verne games, Nancy Drew, The Dark Eye...
