To my mind Dreamfall is a far more moving game than TLJ mainly because it's got much better developed characters. Still TLJ is a pretty great game as well and I do recommend playing it before Dreamfall even though they can be seen as two seperate stories. It just didn't move me as much as Dreamfall did.
