I got my boyfriend to play Psychonauts by gifting it to him on Steam (it's not that he didn't want to, but rather that he didn't have time, and a stack of other games he wanted to get to at some point. Like many of us, I imagine.
). He enjoys it, but finds that playing it with Mouse and Keyboard is very hard. That's what I felt back when I first played it too, but the now I played with an Xbox 360 controller, and it worked great. Also, they seem to have changed some really nasty parts (read: That one escort at the end) to be a lot less annoying.
And now I got my dear an original Xbox "Duke" controller (you know, the one you could knock someone out with in real life. My dear is tall, and it's just the right size to be comfortable for him.
), plus two adapters so that he can use it. So yeah, soon he'll be able to play Psychonauts without the distraction of slightly annoying controls.
