I just finished Prof. Layton and the Last Spector. This game was stunningly good - best story in an adventure game I've seen in quite a while. This game consisted of story, exploration and puzzles - and had these in aces and spades. Prof Layton, 999, Secret Files and Broken Sword are all great adventure games I've played this year and lucky for me I have a few more to play next year.

Yea, I'll list all 136 games. That would take days for me to type. I have a 3DS now (yes - I kept my Dsi XL) and the first US adventure game for it: Hollywood Crimes. I like it - great fun with 3D puzzles. The Last Specter is much better - but this is a good start.
