I guess I'm a really hardcore guy, because even though I have a widescreen monitor, I don't mind playing adventure games in 4:3 at all (not stretched though, I prefer black borders around the picture) - I don't know why, maybe that's because I think 1024x768 and upwards already looks big enough.
