Today I went to Radio Kootwijk; a very small village that was built for the workers who manned the enormous radio station that we used to communicate with our oversees colonies in East-Indie and Southern America. The building from which the transmissions took place is very unique. It was meant by the architect to look like a sphinx but soon got the nickname 'The Cathedral.'
